Summer reading so far

I finished Smokin' Seventeen by Janet Evanovich last week. It was wonderful, like always. The best part was the last page that announced Explosive Eighteen will be available in November. I can not get enough Stephanie Plum. The first book in the series, One for the Money, is being made into a movie that is supposed to be out in January of next year, but the date has been changed a number of times, so I'll believe it when I see a movie preview and presale tickets on Fandango. Anyway back to the book, Stephanie is still deciding between Morelli and Ranger and catching bad guys while eating donuts and fried chicken. Basically my dream world, minus the bad guys that is. It's a quick fun read and definitely worth a trip to the library for.

I am just finished A Red Herring Without Mustard by Alan Bradley. I love this series. Flavia is such a smart little trickster and it makes me laugh. I also love some of her expressions and I wish I could use them without feeling like a fool. I can't wait for the fourth book to come out. I love a good series. I'm definitely a binger when it comes to books or movies or TV shows. When I find something I like I just can't ever get enough.

Next on my list of books is The Pioneer Woman's book, Black Heels to Tractor Wheels. I am pretty excited about this love story. I have a feeling I'm going to cry. I'm such a cry baby when it comes to love stories.

I am also waiting for The Help, A Place of Yes, and Tina Fey's Bossypants to be available at the library. So hopefully people will read quickly so it will be my turn soon.
