A Song of Ice and Fire has consumed me. I borrowed A Game of Thrones for my kindle from the library but I wasn't able to finish it before it had to go back so I bought the first four books as a bundle for my kindle because I was so hooked.  I think I am getting close to the end of the second book, but because I have the four book bundle my kindle only tracks how far along I am in the bundle not my progress in each individual book, right now I am 42% of the way through all four books. I am obsessed. I keep telling people to read it and at work I discuss it every single day with one of my coworkers who has read it.

I love the knights and kings and castles and war and the planning of attack and all the different story lines. It's magical. So far a few of the characters that I love have died, and I have a hit list of my own, and I want to rescue a few others. I wish I could be a lady and have knights, and host feasts and have direwolves as pets. I would go on about each character and why I love them but I don't want to spoil it for anyone. Just read it.

I haven't seen the show yet, but I think I am going to order it soon. I am dying to watch it all happen on screen, and I've heard that the show is really well done. Ahhh!!! I'm so excited! Now go read, so we can chat about it!
