Eating around Orlando: Olde Hearth Bread Company
I love a good pastry! Every couple of weekends or so Christopher and I go to the farmer's market to get bread and produce and support local businesses.
Olde Hearth Bread Company is one of our favorite local business. They have a full line of breads and tasty treats that they sell at local farmer's markets and locally owned grocery stores.
Above is a picture of their raspberry danish (2/3 eaten). These are the ingredients:
- Unbleached Flour
- Water
- Eggs
- Butter
- Sugar
- Yeast
- Sea Salt
- Topped with Icing and Streusel
- Raspberry
No preservatives! Christopher and I try to eat foods that have only ingredients we have heard of and can pronounce. I have all of the ingredients to make this danish in my pantry, except for raspberries. Now, I probably wouldn't be able to make a danish that delicious but at least I know what I am buying. We also love using their Challah for french toast, you can check that our here!
