Give thanks Nov. 22

I am thankful for big family gatherings.

If you've been reading long, you know my family likes to gather. We get together with some portion of the extended family at least once a month. And we don't joke around when it comes to these little get togethers. Today will be no exception! Today all of my extended family on my mom and dad's sides and my cousin in-law's (is that a thing?) parents will show up at my mom and dads house around 2, eat until we couldn't possibly stuff one more mini marshmallow into our faces, then hang around chatting and playing games until it's time to celebrate one of my cousins birthdays. Then we will probably play another game and then maybe people will go home. It's going to be awesome.

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays! I get to eat delicious home cooked food, hang out with my crazy family, and plan out my black Friday shopping trip. I don't have to worry about getting people presents (except for my cousin, but it's her birthday so that's OK). All I have to do is cook 8 pounds of green beans and show up by 2!

A couple of years ago my brother Jake opened our cream whipper before discharging all of the CO2. It was awesome!
