I have a Sephora!!
While at the mall over the weekend, I discovered a mini Sephora in the JC Penny store. I don't normally go into JC Penny, but thank goodness Amber was looking for boots.
Amber and I are two of the most awkward people ever, especially in public. So we walk in to mini Sephora and are both immediately overwhelmed. We are talking a "store" inside a store about the size of my living room. So we try very hard to look through all the pretty shiny, sparkly, smelly things without going crazy. We both picked out one thing from the travel size section and decided to skip the perfumes and check out. Then we both awkwardly had mini conversations with our new beauty gal pals/cashiers, paid and ran out of the store. Clutching each other. It was hilarious. I think I'm going to need a few more trips to mini Sephora before I could even think of going to a real Sephora. Or maybe I'll just keep ordering things from Birchbox, and if Birchbox doesn't sell it, I obviously don't need it.
Anyway, this is the one item I managed to purchase while at mini Sephora.

Belle over at Capitol Hill Style has only had nice things to say about this brand so when I saw a small travel size bottle of the Ole Henriksen African red tea foaming cleanser while I was in Sephora I knew I had to try it. So far I've used it 3-4 times and I really like it so far. My skin feels clean after using it, it doesn't leave any kind of weird residue or dry out my skin and I haven't had any irritation. Plus the foam is super easy to use.
The last full size face wash I bought is getting a little low, so maybe this will replace it when the time comes. I'll keep ya posted.
