Hey there!

Rory Gilmore Reading List

I've been rewatching Gilmore Girls for about the 400th time while Chris is in class or doing homework. I could be doing laundry or vacuuming or finishing one of the 5 craft projects that are scattered all over my house, but no TV wins. I've been wanting to read but every time I start a book I get distracted, or it's boring, or I read it in 1-2 days and then it's over. Rory Gilmore might be the best read fake human I know of, and I've decided to follow in her literary footsteps.

There are a lot of people online that have Rory Gilmore reading lists, so I just picked the first one I pinned. I put it in a Google docs spreadsheet and started looking for the free books on amazon. I got quite a few of the classics last night. For the books that aren't available for free, I am going to try to get them at the used bookstore. I want to have a large selection of these books so when I get restless with the book I'm reading or I don't have time to stop by the library I can just pick one off the shelf or off my kindle.

I'm starting with A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens. More like a tale of two naps so far, but I am going to finish it. I hope. I'm pretty sure I "read" this in high school and of course I mean I read a summary online with a study guide. Next time I sit down to read, I'll make sure I have a latte handy.
