2015 To Do Lists: Things to learn/do

See this content in the original post

I love learning new things, so I figured I'd try something new each month this year. This is what I have planned:

January - Learn fancy handwriting. I saw

this

on Pinterest and figured I'd give it a shot. I figure I'll print out some fancy stuff and trace for a while and then try making the pretty letters on my own.

February - Learn to french braid my own hair. I can do it inside out and crooked and it looks crappy, so I figure this wouldn't be a bad thing to learn how to do. I hate sleeping with my hair loose and a ponytail is uncomfortable, I definitely prefer braids.

March - I have camping penciled in for March. This makes me really nervous and we don't own the supplies and we life in Florida. We're absolutely playing this by ear.

April - Feed the Giraffes!!! Our

local zoo

got giraffes recently, and starting in mid-March you can feed them! Unfortunately this begins the week after my spring break, so I'm going to give it a few weeks and hope it's not as crazy in April. I just know I won't be able to wait much longer.

May - Make homemade pasta. I have a pasta attachment for my KitchenAid mixer and I feel like it would be a fun project.

June - Buy and learn to use Photoshop. Yeah, it's about time right?! I thought so too.

July - Learn to use my sewing machine at least enough to sew a straight line.

August - Fancy up this blog. Or Not.  We'll see.

September - Have professional pictures taken of Christopher, Lucy and I. I feel like it's about time.

October - Throw a surprise party for someone. I've always wanted to do this.

November - Design a fun Christmas card.

December - See The Nutcracker. I've never seen it as an adult and neither has Christopher.

I also plan to read a lot. I was kind of a reading slacker the second half of 2014 and I miss my imaginary friends.

Do you have any fun plans for 2015?
