Earlier this month I turned 29. I'm excited about the last year of my 20's. It's been a fun decade, but I'm looking forward to all of the things life has to offer, including my 30's.

I made a bigger deal out of this birthday than I usually do. We went Roller Skating at Semoran Skateway, which I haven't done in over a decade. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be.

I fell three times, and ended up with a bruised and swollen knee. Maybe next time I'll hit the practice rink first.

But after roller skating we went back to our house and had Jell-O shots and cupcakes, so that made the night much happier.

The morning of my birthday party I decided I needed new hair for the last year of my 20's.

Helllloooooo mermaid hair!

To round out the weekend Christopher and I took a trip to IKEA to get some accessories for the desk my parents gave me.

And no shopping trip is complete without new shoes. I bought my first pair of TOMS! I really like the zebra pattern, now I'm just trying to figure out how to wear them to work every day.
