Christopher's sister gave us some homemade organic ginger syrup for Christmas and we decided it belonged in a cocktail. I did a quick search on Pinterest for cocktails with ginger syrup and found this. I love gin and we had all of the ingredients except the cherries so this was our winner. 

I don't love ginger and I figured when it was just a couple of teaspoons in a cocktail I wouldn't notice it too much, but whoa. This is quite a gingery drink so it's right up a ginger lover's alley. 

I gave mine to Christopher and then I made myself a gingerless Tom Collins. Yum!
