Christmas Craft Projects
I know Christmas is still two months and five days away, and my mother will probably be rolling her eyes when she reads this, but I cannot wait for Christmas decorating! It's the most magical time of the year, the song says so.
These are some of the crafts that I found on Pinterest that I really want to make.
I've been wanting to make an advent wreath for the last few years, because it's important to remember why we are celebrating Christmas, Jesus. Or Lord baby Jesus, as Ricky Bobby would prefer. Anyway, I search Pinterest for something simple and pretty and I found this:
I've been toying with the idea of decorating with not so traditional colors this Christmas season, and this shadow box would be perfect.
I LOVE garlands. Last year I made two new ones for Christmas, but I didn't finish one of them in time to use it and I can't wait for this year. I really like when garlands are simple shapes and colors like this one. The Pin I found was to a sold out version of this garland, but I've included a link to a new one. I can't decide if I'll try to sew one myself or buy it. Or honestly it will go try to sew one, fail, buy. That's generally how things work around here.
The only thing I love more than garlands, wreaths! What a lovely way to dress up a door. If I decide on a whimsical Christmas in the Hofreiter house this year I will have this wreath on a door. Don't you worry. It's just too perfect not to have it.
Do you have Christmas decorations that you have to have out every year? Do you switch it up? Pick a theme? A little of each? How do you decorate for Christmas?
