Epcot Food and Wine Festival 2019 Trip 1

Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival is in full swing, and we finally made a quick stop in to taste some snacks over the weekend. We went to Animal Kingdom for the first half of the day and then headed to Epcot, so we only made it to two booths before running out of energy for the day.

Our first stop, Mexico! Mexico is always a festival favorite for us, so we never miss tasting the snacks in Mexico.

Drinks: Mexican Sangria: Red Wine, Blackcurrant Liqueur, Citrus Juices, Strawberry Purée, and a hint of Rum – $9.50 and Smokey Margarita: Mezcal Ilegal, Pineapple-Ginger Juice, Agave Nectar, 100% Agave Tequila and Ancho Reyes Liqueur served on the rocks with a spicy Salt Rim – $11.25

Eats: Capirotada de Chocolate: Chocolate Bread Pudding served with Chocolate Abuelita Crème Anglaise – $4.75 and Tostada de Carne: Braised Beef on a Corn Tostada with Mole Oaxaqueño and Chicharrón Dust – $6.95

Our second stop was The Alps. This booth was good, but not a stand out in our opinion.

Drinks: Wine Flight (see above for wines) - $6.75

Eats: Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese with Baby Potatoes, Cornichons and Baguette (V) (KA) – $5.00

We made one final stop to get a caramel apple from Karamell-Küche in the Germany pavilion to take home for later, because that place is magical.
