Birchbox and Lush Haul November 2019

It’s been a while since I’ve shared a Birchbox on the blog, so when my November box came in the mail, I decided it was time for a show and tell. I’m also going to include my most recent LUSH purchase as well, because it’s fun, and why not?!

I love the design of this box. They are always pretty, but this one in particular made me want to cuddle up in a sweater and use a face mask, which I think is a pretty ideal feeling when opening a beauty box.

First impressions: YAY! I really like R+Co and Davines products, so I am excited to try those samples. I also love that there is a full size (I think) mascara, because I love trying new mascara.

Here is the information card that came in the box so you can see a description and price for the products in my box.

Davines Liquid Spell Reinforcing Bodifying Fluid, DERMA E Vitamin C Concentrated Serum, Lise Watier Rouge Gourmand Lipstick, TLW Let’s Get Naked Frizz Fighter, Wander Beauty Mile High Club Volume and Length Mascara, R+Co TELEVISION Perfect Hair Shampoo and Conditioner.

Moving on to LUSH! I love LUSH, and I wish that there were more locations in Orlando, because the one closest to me is in the Mall at Millennia which is a touristy hot mess. And obviously I can order online, but it’s not the same, the store is such an experience, and if you haven’t been to one, get yourself to one soon.

This little Elf Bath Bomb is hilarious to me. I like that it’s two pieces so you can use it for two baths, and I really like how the one I have looks like it’s making a face at me.

This sparkly ball of fun is the Turmeric Latte Bath Bomb. It’s shimmery and smells really good and I like that it had a pretty good crack in the middle so I can easily split this one in half and get two baths out of it.

This cute little thing is the Polar Bear Plunge Bubble Bar. I love LUSH bubble bars, they make such nice stiff bubbles. They stay bubbly for so long and are so soft. I usually mix a small chunk of a bubble bar with half of a bath bomb in my bath.

The bath oils are a little newer to LUSH, I think… or at least new to me at LUSH. I have tried a couple before and liked them enough to try some more. Here we have Happy Thoughts, Igloo, and Furze. The bath oils make your bath water so soft and silky and smell really nice.

The best part of going to a LUSH store is getting to try new things. While I was in the store a LUSH master (sales team member) demoed the Yog Nog Shower Gel and Yog Nog Body Conditioner for me, and it was magical. Yog Nog smells warm and cozy, like baking and holidays, and feels so soft, and even more fun, it has a slight shimmer to it. I obviously bought both of them, because I’m a sucked for that kind of thing.

I also got a sample of the Galaxy Lip Scrub, which smells like a blue slurpee, but also stained my lips blue and Happy shower gel, which I haven’t tried yet. While I wouldn’t buy the galaxy lip scrub, I do love the Mint Julips Lip Scrub, and I always repurchase it when I run out.
