Your favorite Cars star, Lightning McQueen, finally has his own show in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. On Sunday we spent the afternoon at Hollywood Studios and it just happened to be opening day for the Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy show.

The is in a theater that can accommodate about 400 people according to the sign on the wall, and has a 180 degree screen that displays a welcome by Mater, some racing instruction by Lightning, and of course a special guest comes to try and wreck the fun. Did you like that pun?

Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy is located in the Sunset Boulevard section of the park, right next to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. Go enjoy the air conditioning and of course a fun Cars themed show.
