Summertime screams for fresh squeezed lemonade. All you need is a bag of lemons, water, sugar, and ice. Here is our not quite a recipe, recipe for fresh squeezed lemonade.

Arrange your supplies, and if you have a juicer press thingy, this is the time to use it.

First, make a simple syrup by mixing equal parts sugar and water and heating that up in the microwave.

Roll your lemons a little to get them all loosey juicy, then cut them all in half.

Now, whip out that juice press or get your hands prepped for squeezing and juice those lemons. We used a little strainer to catch any errant seeds.

Now that you have a puddle of lemon juice, and trust me all those dang lemons and you end up with a puddle of juice, add a bunch of ice, water and simple syrup to taste. Stir and enjoy.

Pour that tasty nectar in a cute glass, add a fancy straw, and sip away. Happy summer, y’all!
