30 Things I am Grateful for September 2020
We made it to September y’all. Did you think we would ever get this far? I for sure thought the Earth would have exploded or imploded by now. Alas, we are still in existence, so gratitude list it is.
First pumpkin pie of the year (I’m pretty sure)
Homemade sloppy joes
A fresh hair cut and color
Lucy snuggles while I work
Pool days
Finally checking out Henry’s Depot in Sanford especially Mahogany Coffee
A small family Labor Day cook out
Animal Crossing
A pretty successful second batch of French macarons
Family birthday celebrations
The love and kindness that humans are capable of sharing in a crisis. We need to dig some of that out right about now.
Our nieces sleeping over at our house
Surprise Nationals hat from my mom because she forgot she bought it and found it while cleaning
Seeing the 130 year old house my parents are in the process of buying
Christopher helping me through a series of major panic attacks
One of the best prime ribs I’ve ever had
The cutest toothpaste ever in the dental kit from the hotel
Getting home safely from VA
Grocery pick up
Another year of Jacob
Pumpkin everything from Trader Joe’s
Wine
A good hair day
Mid-day coffee run
Freshly bathed Lucy
New Halloween decorations
Celebrating family birthdays
A change of scenery while our roof was replaced
A new roof
It almost, sometimes, feels like Fall
I am very excited for all of the Holidays coming up. I love Fall and Winter decorations and cooler weather, so I think we are moving into the best part of the year. So stock up on apple cider, hot cocoa, pie, and cozy sweaters, friends, because it’s Fall y’all!
