The next couple of weeks will probably be very specifically fall, so I hope you’re ready. I know I am!
1. Corn Mazes
I haven’t been to a corn maze as an adult before, so this was very exciting for me. This particular maze, Corn-Fusion, was giant, had multiple shapes cut out, and a little game. If you live near a corn made, I highly recommend going.
2. The Full Moo from Sugar Hill Brewery
Whoa. This appetizer at Sugar Hill Brewery in St. Paul, VA was amazing. Surprisingly, the BBQ in this area generally sucks. But this was the best brisket we’ve had in VA, on top of perfectly crispy homemade chips, and drizzled with beer cheese, and green onions, horseradish sour cream on the side. Perfection.
3. Snail Mail
I love mail. Sending it or receiving it, either one makes me happy. This week I mailed a little Halloween surprise to my nieces and picked up a new sheet of stamps while I was at the post office.
4. Macarons at Wolf Hills
Wolf Hills Coffee has always carried pastries and such, but now they have macarons from Meg’s Macs and this is an excellent addition to the treat case, IMO. I love a macaron, and while I enjoy making them, sometimes you just want someone else to do the dirty work. Yum!!
It’s been a fun filled, tasty, fall week around these parts. What are your favorite things this week? Let us know in the comments.
