Friday Favorites - January 20, 2023
We’re in full blown Winter now. It’s cold, rainy or snowy, and icy, and this list reflects that.
Beef Stroganoff
Christopher and I got back from my birthday weekend in Knoxville on Monday and my mom made my favorite food for dinner, beef stroganoff. It has all the best things, noodles, steak, mushrooms, and a creamy sauce.YUM!
Sandwiches from Yoder’s Country Market
Yoder’s has the most affordable, simple, yet delightful, sandwiches. This visit I got smoked turkey, baby swiss, dill pickles, lettuce, mayo & mustard on sourdough bread. This beauty was just $6. SIX DOLLARS. YUM!
Coffee in Mugs at Coffee Shops
Coffee in a mug is undeniably superior to coffee in a paper cup. I love being able to go to coffee shops, write, read, and drink coffee out of a real mug. It’s so cozy.
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo
This is my second Taylor Jenkins Reid book, and damn. Each new book, I love this author more and more. While I was reading Daisy Jones and The Six I googled the people in the band to see what they were up to now, they were fake people. They aren’t googleable. Same with Evelyn Hugo. I highly recommend reading Taylor Jenkins Reid.
How Y’all Doing?
God I miss Leslie Jordan. His Instagram content brought me so much joy, and I really miss his signature, “Well shit, how y’all doing”? Hearing his voice again while listening to his book just makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.
That’s it for this week y’all. See ya with a new list next Friday.
