Cookie Week 2023: Ginger Oatmeal Cookies
On the last day of cookie week, we’re making Brown Butter Chewy Ginger Oatmeal Cookies from Ambitious Kitchen.
I think I saved the best for last. These little babes are incredible. Sweet, spicy, and chewy.
My big tip for any recipe that has molasses, spray your measuring cup or spoon with pam so it doesn’t get stuck.
First, brown your butter and set aside to cool for about five minutes. Mix your dry ingredients together. Then start beating and mixing until your dough comes together. Then chill in the fridge for 15 minutes or so.
Use a small cookie scoop (1 TBSish) to scoop the dough, then roll the balls in sugar before putting them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake.
Let the cookies cool, or not, before enjoying. I can never wait for cookies to cool. It’s impossible.
