Natalie & Christopher in Germany

Hey there!

We are Natalie and Christopher. We blog about life in the suburbs of Orlando, FL with no kids and one dog. Thanks for checking in.

Give thanks Nov. 7

I am thankful for a full fridge and pantry.

We are so spoiled, we can't even be bothered to keep it all organized. I'm working on that.

It breaks my heart that so many people struggle to put food on the table for themselves and their families. Christopher and I are incredibly blessed to have the opposite problem. We call my youngest brother like every other week to come eat our leftovers.

I encourage you, if you can, to donate food, time, or money to a local food pantry this holiday season. You never know which families in your community need that help, it might be the family that sits next to you at church, or the little old lady buying two bananas at publix because that is all she can afford, it could be your  next door neighbor, it could be you. If you live in an area with an active boy scout troupe you should have received a yellow Scouting for Food bag on your front door last weekend. Scouting for Food is an easy way to donate food you might already have in your pantry without even having to leave your house. Just grab that yellow bag, put anything you have that you can spare inside and set it on your front doorstep Saturday morning and a boy scout will come by and pick it up. That can of tuna, beans, pasta, peanut butter, or soup can make a big difference to someone who might not have had anything at all without your donation.
