My baby brother goes to PROM!

My baby brother just finished his junior year of high school and took his adorable girlfriend to prom! One of her friends needed a corsage and I offered to make one. Then I remembered it's been over 10 years since I made one last, and freaked out.

If putting your finger in your boyfriend's nose isn't young love, then I don't know what is. 

It's so much fun to watch my brother grow up. I remember the day he was born. We had to stay with a neighbor for HOURS after school until we could go meet the little stinker. Then our other brother and I spent years dunking Jake in the toilet, laughing when he fell off a porch head first into a large hedge in a snowsuit, dressing him up in crazy outfits for photo shoots. OK that last one was all me.

Jake has grown into such a young man. He cleans my house for me for an incredibly small fee in the summers (thank God it's summer, amiright?), he let's my dog out when I'm going to be away from home for a long time, he's freaking hilarious (I taught him everything he knows), he's an amazing musician and just a generally wonderful person. It's going to be sad to watch his last season of high school marching band, and his last showcase, but I know that the next chapter will be just as fun and full of crazy because that's just who Jake is.
