Christopher turned the big 3-0! We are officially no longer a twenty somethings couple. Only 1 year, 3 months and 8 days until I join him in the 30's club. We even made up our own little hash tag for our thirtieth birthdays, #30hof.
We started Christopher's birthday weekend with a trip to Total Wine to buy all the pumpkin beers on the planet, and iced tea from one of our favorite places, Pom Pom's Teahouse and Sandwicheria.
Dogfish head Pumpkin Ale was our first pumpkin beer of the season and it wasn't bad. Woodchuck Hard Cider Fall Harvest was horrible. It was like I licked a cinnamon apple air freshener. Barf.
Every special occasion in our house calls for a filet. We made filets with onions and mushrooms and asparagus. It was delicious.
We topped it all off with hanging out in the hammock and a little game picnic in one of our favorite parks.
Happy birthday, Christopher! I am so glad I get to celebrate life with you everyday, but especially on your birthday! Enjoy 30, I love you! #30hof
