12 Days of Holiday Treats Day 8: Festive Muddy Buddies

Muddy buddies, puppy chow, depending on where you grew up this tasty snack could be known by many names. Whatever you call it, it’s easy, so delicious, and almost everyone likes it. Like unless you have a life threatening allergy to one of the ingredients, if you don’t like this stuff I’m not sure how I feel about you anymore. 

The recipe is on the back of some Chex cereal boxes, but if you get a box without it check their website.

Melt all of the melty materials together and stir until smooth.

Mix your melted stuff into your cereal

Toss your chocolaty happiness with powdered sugar in a 2 gallon ziplock bag.

So pretty

Now to make it festive, add a bag of red and green m&m's and shake some more.

And boom, festive Muddy Buddies. Try not to eat it all in one sitting.
