1 Micheline Maalouf
I have known and loved Micheline for almost a decade. While I’ve known her, Micheline has become a nationally recognized mental health professional and advocate. She is currently sharing helpful resources for anyone trying to learn more about the history and better understand the conflict happening in Gaza right now. If you are interested in resources and information about all things mental health or the Palestinian genocide currently happening, you can find Micheline @micheline.maalouf on Instagram and TikTok.
2 Early Voting
I am grateful to live somewhere with an extended early voting period (6 weeks), but I wish we had more candidates to choose from because there are several races where people are running unopposed.
3 Halloween
I love Halloween. It was so much fun to dress up as a Ms. Pac-Man game and hand out candy to the trick-or-treaters.
4 Heated Blankets
This week it got down into the 20s at night, so having a heated blanket has kept me super cozy.
5 My brother’s new chickens
My youngest brother got chickens! I have been going over to his house to check on them while he is at work since they are so little and I love them so much. Their little chirps are darling and they are so fluffy.
The world is hurting right now. The news is heartbreaking. Make sure to find things to keep life balanced. Have a good weekend.
