Friday Favorites - June 23, 2023

It’s been a while, but this week I have a few favorites to share. Let’s get into it.

Beagle Ridge Lavender Farm

We went to Beagle Ridge to learn about lavender and see all the varieties they grow. They cut tons of lavender for us to keep and we bought a few plants to try growing our own. I’ve killed a lot of lavender so, cross your fingers for us. It was a fun experience and the lavender smelled so good.

Coffee Soft Serve

I’ve never seen coffee soft serve before! It had a fairly light coffee taste, like a coffee with a decent amount of cream and sugar. I liked it! It was the flavor of the week at Crossroads Creamery inside The Dutch Pantry in Rural Retreat, VA, so I don’t know if I’ll be able to get it again anytime soon, but at least I know it’s possible.

Banana Pudding

I love banana pudding, and thankfully so does my dad. I made a batch for a Father’s Day dessert and now we’re all happy.
