Spring Bucket List 2023 Update
At the beginning of Spring I made a bucket list of things I wanted to do this season to really soak it all in. I got to do a lot of it, but not quite all of it. Maybe I’ll be able to do the things left of my spring list during the summer.
The first thing I did was make lemonade and I forgot to take pictures. But it was delicious! I made it unsweetened and then made a regular simple syrup for Christopher and I, and a splenda simple syrup for my parents.
Next, I planted two types of lettuce, spinach, broccoli, and carrots in my grow bags.
Look at the cutie carrot sprouts.
I went to the Farmer’s Market and got a maple walnut scone, but I got there in the last hour it was open so a lot of things were sold out. I’m going to try and go again a couple times during the summer, but we all know I am not a morning person. I’ll have to start going on Tuesday evenings now that they are back open.
While visiting Providence, RI we visited the RISD museum
At the beginning of March we went on a couple hikes in New Mexico.
We spring cleaned our room. I organized and picked up, and Christopher vacuumed, dusted, and mopped. I didn’t take any pictures because even at its cleanest it’s still kind of a disaster when 2 humans and a dog live in a 15x15 room.
I didn’t buy any local flowers this season because they sell out quickly and I am not a morning human, but maybe this summer. We also didn’t make it to a festival, at least not on purpose, we walked through one in Durham but I didn’t count it because we didn’t stay to hang out very long. And last, we didn’t make it to the alpaca farm, but I really want to go pet the alpacas so I am hoping to make this happen soon.
