Savannah Bananas in Durham, NC

After seeing the Savannah Bananas on TikTok, it was my new mission to see them in person. I tried getting tickets last season, but all of the games were sold out, so I got on the waiting list for this season, and BOOM, tickets. OK, so it wasn’t that easy. I had to join the waitlist to get into the ticket lottery, then I got a spot to be able to try and purchase tickets, and then I was able to get tickets to my last choice game of the series in Durham. BUT, we got tickets.

I wasn’t 100% sure what to expect, so I tried not to be too nervous. Would it be too over the top? Would I get annoyed? Would the fans be insane? Was this a mistake and we should have gone to a normal baseball game with no dance routines?

There was no reason to be so worried, we had such a fun time. They played a ton of great music and everyone sang along. The dad bod cheer squad and the mini marching band were great. AND they had a BAT DOG!
