2025 Central Florida Fair
Last weekend, we took our youngest niece to the Central Florida Fair to celebrate her 8th birthday, and we had a blast! It’s still happening for one more day if you need something to do tomorrow.
We kicked off the fun with a ride on the Ferris Wheel. It was fun to see downtown and the rest of the fair from the sky.
There are a lot of fun rides, scams games, and mazes. Our niece liked the thrill rides best; I’m so excited to go on big roller coasters at theme parks with her soon!
Our niece was an extra strong woman and won a pickle. We took special care of Mr. Pickles so he made it home safe and sound.
The niece was extra excited about the bouncy obstacle course, so we got her an unlimited play wristband. I am also a nervous nelly and immediately started googling whether to take a kid with a broken bone to the ER or Urgent Care, just in case. She was fine, though, and my googling was unnecessary. In central Florida, outpatient ER is the best option for a broken bone, according to the internet and some first-hand experience from a family member who recently broke a bone..
We snacked on funnel cake, deep-fried Snickers, roasted corn, and a pizza cone. Plus, fresh-squeezed lemonade, duh!
We saw the Sea Lion Splash; the sea lions were so cute and smart.
The petting zoo was my favorite part because I love petting and feeding animals. The animals were not pleased that we picked carrots; they wanted the kibble, and the cows didn’t even attempt to snack on our stupid carrots.
The camel tried to eat my whole cup of carrot sticks right out of my hand. It was magical. And then our niece got to ride a camel, which was such a cool experience for her.
We also saw the circus but didn’t take pictures of it.
The Central Florida Fair isn’t big; I’d say it’s medium-sized, but it is a good time for kids. A few things we didn’t do were the haunted house, the Blockbuster Experience, mini golf, and the arcade. We spent about five hours at the fair, and it was a great afternoon. It comes back every year, so if this year you didn’t get a chance to experience the fair, make sure to buy your discounted tickets and ride wristbands early for next year.
