Blaze Pizza opened up in Winter Park recently and I have been patiently (yeah, right!) waiting for it to open so I could try my very first Blaze pizza!
It's a cool system if you build your own pizza, which I did. Kind of like a sub counter, you choose your crust and sauce and cheese and toppings and then they toss it into a blazin' hot oven and it cooks in 180 seconds, or yano 3 minutes. When you build your own pizza the cost includes as many toppings as your little heart/stomach desires. I got the regular crust and regular tomato sauce, shredded mozzarella, parmesan, pepperoni, green peppers, mushrooms, and sauteed onions for just under $9. I couldn't quite finish my pizza in one sitting, so I took a couple slices home to Christopher. It's really close to work so I am excited to go back again and try some other combinations of toppings.
