12 Days of Holiday Treats Day 3: Peanut Butter Blossoms

On the third day of holiday treats my true love made for me, peanut butter blossoms

This is a holiday MUST. Is it even Christmas without peanut butter blossoms? This is another pretty basic cookie recipe that will be a hit at any party.

Cream together shortening and peanut butter

Add sugars and beat until fluffy 

Add egg, milk, and vanilla

Add dry ingredients

Take a good sniff of the most magical cookie dough on earth

Roll into 1ish inch balls and roll in sugar

Bake these delightful balls of joy

Immediately after taking the cookies out of the oven, gently press the Hershey's kisses into the middles of the cookies

This is the magic of Christmas right here people.

Just look how pretty

Pop these babies on a tray and take them everywhere you go all year round, but especially in December.
