Fall Bucket List Recap
YAY Fall
In September, we went to Hendersonville, NC, to pick apples at Justus Orchard. The orchard grounds and views are stunning.
We picked a ton of apples and had apple cider and apple cider donuts for a tasty snack.
While we were in Hendersonville, we had breakfast at Kostas Fireside, it was delicious.
We celebrated a few fun/silly holidays in September, Star Trek Day on the 8th, Chocolate Milkshake Day on the 12th, and Pepperoni Pizza Day on the 20th.
October was a WILD month! We celebrated Christopher’s birthday with my family and then went on a grand 40th birthday adventure to Sweden and Norway. You can read about our trip here: Stockholm, Oslo, Bergen, and Tromso.
There were beautiful fall leaves in Sweden and Norway. I don’t know why I wasn’t expecting fall leaves in the fall, but I wasn’t.
Halloween is one of our favorite holidays, but this year, we were traveling on Halloween, so we didn’t dress up. We still handed out candy and enjoyed seeing all the fun costumes.
We did a lot of celebrating in October, so the only fun/silly holiday we celebrated was International Coffee Day on October 1st.
November was so busy. We found a rental house and moved a week later. We are still unpacking and getting organized, so I only baked one fall treat, a pumpkin pie, and forgot to take a picture. I also got a fall mani+pedi and forgot to take a picture of that too. Oops.
Because we love coffee, we obviously celebrated Espresso Day at CFS Oviedo.
This fall was fun, full of adventures, and so very busy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I hope you had a great fall! Bring on winter!
