12 Days of Baking - Day 10: Butter Pecan Cookies
This Butter Pecan Cookies recipe is another one that is new to me . I found these bad boys on Pinterest, of course. They are really good and pretty darn simple.
Gather your ingredients: flour, sugar, brown sugar, corn starch, vanilla, baking soda, salt, pecans, butter, eggs.
Chop up and toast your pecans! This smells heavenly.
You know the drill, beat your butter and sugar until they are fluffy little clouds of yummy goodness.
Mmmmm butter and sugar!!!
Stir together your dry ingredients.
Add your dry to wet. Mix until just combined.
Gather up those toasty nuts.
Mix 'em in.
Sniff that yummy dough.
Now we have to let it get all cold and happy, so wrap it tightly in plastic wrap and toss it in the fridge.
Look at that log of dough. It's it pretty?!
Once you get your dough all cold and happy, get a tablespoon and scoop dough into balls, then roll them to make them stick together.
Then give them the sweetest treatment of all, a sugar bath!
Put those bad boys on a cookies sheet and bake.
I think Santa & Mrs. Clause would love a plate of these, just sayin'!
