Thanksgiving Cocktail: Fall Sangria
Sangria is one of my favorite festive drinks, and it’s easy to make for a crowd. This fall sangria recipe is perfect for Thanksgiving, Friendsgiving, or any get-together you have coming up.
Gather your supplies: wine, apple cider, bourbon, cinnamon sticks, apple, orange, ginger, and rosemary. Plus a pitcher. I used a plastic pitcher to stir it all up and then I’ll transfer it to a pretty one for serving.
Slice your fruits and toss ‘em in a pitcher with your other liquids. Refrigerate overnight and bam! Sangria!
When I tasted the sangria after a night in the fridge, I thought it needed a little extra something, so I added 1/3C of Gran Gala Liqueur.
To serve it cold, pour over ice and garnish with apples or orange slices, a cinnamon stick, and/or rosemary.
To serve it warm, heat on the stove without the fruits, and serve in a mug garnished with a cinnamon stick, fruit slices, and/or rosemary.
