The Pumpkin Patch
Last weekend I was in the mood for some fall fun, so we headed to The Pumpkin Patch in Abingdon. They have pick your own pumpkins, already picked pumpkins, animals to pet, local vendors, and a corn maze.
The pumpkin house in front of their barn is so charming! I kind of want one of my own once we have a yard again.
Look how freaking cute.
We got to pet horses, cows, a pig, goats, and donkeys.
Did you know tobacco leaves were so big? They are pretty cool looking.
We got to take a tractor ride to the pumpkin patch. I love a tractor ride!
In addition to U-Pick pumpkins, the farm has bee hives, and a small patch of tobacco.
We didn’t go through the corn maze, because allergies, but there was a pig eating corn leaves on the edge and it made us giggle.
We each picked a little pumpkin from the field before heading back to the cute pumpkin house to pick up a few specialty pumpkins.
This was our final haul, six pumpkins and a jar of honey.
On our way back home we saw a ton of cows, a family of deer, and a fox!
I think our little haul looks pretty cute on the front porch. Now if it would just cool down again, that would be great.
If you haven’t picked pumpkins before, I highly recommend it. Happy fall y’all!
