Over the weekend we went to our first Appalachian League baseball game of the summer. We saw the Tri-State Coal Cats at the Kingsport Axmen.

They have a grey wolf mascot named Tanasi, and during the game, they took off their shirt and streeked, it was funny.

It was National Chocolate Ice Cream day, so we got some chocolate dippin’ dots.

The Axmen didn’t win, but there were fireworks to celebrate it being the first home game of the season, so that made up for it.

The fireworks show was much more impressive than expected. This coming weekend, we’re seeing the Axmen play at Johnson City Doughboys, and they are having a fireworks show, too! Your girl loves fireworks.
